Semper Timur Provides Door-to-Door Vaccination Service

Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta promoted vaccination for residents aged 18+ in the region. One of the efforts is to provide dynamic vaccination services for residents using door-to-door method.

"The main vaccination service is at Semper Timur Urban Village Health Center. But to make the vaccination service closer to the residents, we provide dynamic vaccination. It means we come directly to the residents, not people who come to health center," sai d Cahyo Hudoyo, Semper Timur Urban Village Head, on Monday (6/28).

So far, as many as 5,430 residents aged 18+ years had been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Semper Timur Urban Village.

Door-to-door vaccination service is carried out in turns from one RW to another. Dynamic vaccination is also carried out at Semper Timur Urban Village Office.

"Urban village office which is located in the middle of settlements is considered appropriate to be used for dynamic vaccination location," he conveyed.

According to him, vaccination can improve people's immunity thus it reduces the risk of being exposed to COVID-19. He also appreciated people's high enthusiasm to take a part in vaccination.

"Indeed, there are still some residents who are still afraid to be vaccinated, but we will continue to convince them that vaccination can help us to end the pandemic and make them healthier and more productive," he stated.
